I agree....it is a discipline for itself, but then again so is every other form of modeling, so I guess that it`s all a discipline for itself which means that it is all one big discipline which cant really be broken down into Sub disciplines without destroying the homogenous nature of the singular discilpline which is modeling itself....so there.

After a lot of PPP and other PPPs I have decided that as I am a ham fisted sort of modeler and I would end up destroying the rails and other bits if i go back to drilling the deck, so will fasten the rigging to the rails as David Griffith says in his excellent book "Ship Models from Kits" - sorry Haddock but it is only a hobby and for fun and after the last few days with the computer problems the old brain (whats left of it ) would not take any more hassle !!!
