So, once more into the breach.......back in one piece and a bit of dry fitting of the bodywork. I need to create, for the seats and door linings, a shiny black leather look........any tips???
I really do hope that nothing else goes wrong with this model. I am determine to get in finished before disaster strikes....AGAIN!!!

Although I have been following this project through our several times weekly phone calls, I have finally found a minute or two to log on and see for myself the evidence.  DCOS and I and both crying with laughter!

But we also applaud your tenacity and skills in dealing with each of these disasters in a thoroughly professional manner.

Nowt much else to say really other than I hope it's all smooth running from here!

Haddock

I do admire your determination.

Hi Kiteman,
A brilliant recovery job!
Look forward to hearing more on this one.

The first aircraft I learn the name of was "Focke Wulf FW 190 A3"  My Dad taught me it when I was about 4 and I was so proud!  I always loved the A3 and asked for one for Christmas when I was 7 or 8.  I was bought a Hasegawa kit - it was either 1/48 or 1/32.  I started building it at my gran's and one night while we were all peacefully sleeping, her dog, Floss, chewed the port upper wing!  It seems that British dogs bear a bigger grudge about the war than humans!

So a bit more done after the dissapointments of late. Sloshed some colour on and got most of the internal detail of the interior done. Chrome striping on the bodywork and Bobs yer uncle.......still loads to do...more soon. Waddayathink.

Outstanding work Kitey.  You've got the hang of that bare metal foil then!!

Do I get a coconut for 10,000 views on this string???

Bigkev

Hi Kiteman,
Yes, you do!
However, you have to come and collect it at a club meeting or Our Show.
Now there's a challenge............
Cheers,
Bigkev.

Well done on an excellent model despite all the troubles and tribulations.
I hope my next is always better

Thanks, but it`s not over yet, there`s still lots to do and plenty of scope for disasters.

...plenty of scope for disasters.

You mean "scope for plenty of disasters" surely?  (Laugh Out Loud)
