Well at Scale Model World ( that wonderful place that can empty a wallet quicker than a wife can empty it ) I got 3 resin models of minions from the Despicable Me films dressed as different actors from other films. One is Judge Dredd one is R2D2 from Star Wars and the best is Arne as the Terminator.
Having never done a resin kit before I shall practtis proctice pracctisse try one first before going onto the kit of the minion as terminator.

Different, not so much a kit as practice in painting, or am I missing something.

Just to keep Wizzel happy - the minion Judge Dredd is put together. I think I shall call him DAVE.

It's from the film Judge Dredd  its one of Sylvester  Stallones catch phrases "I am the law" usually said just before he does something nasty to somebody. At least he can speak in this film unlike his mumbling in the Rocky films.

First bit of paint on Dave the minion. Next question what colour are Wizzels eyes (that's when they are not bloodshot. )

The jokes get worse.

I see we are Dredd-g'ing up the bottom of the joke barrel.
But at least with taking photos its very easy to spot mistakes like the yellow on the uniform neck and the spot of gold on the finger - I seem to go mistake blind when just looking at the model.

Well just put the next one together - bet you didn't know R2D2 name was DAVE
