Having just caught up on this after last night, I see I've missed a lot of fun

And that's what I love as much as the modelling advice, we really are such a fun bunch of folk who all get along well and can josh with the best of them. Grey/blue would have done for the eyes in the end. Nice twist on the minions though, making different themed characters and nice paint work too Martin. As ever, I was that busy at the meeting to do anything else but quickly snap the models for the newsletter and didn't get chance to actually admire them!

Well R2D2 Minion has now got his first bit of colour on - now for the eye (only one this time so I might not get them crossed. )

The next one is put together - its "IBB" - thats so easy that I will not even bother to ask the question -- its " I'll be back " you can add the silly accent yourself.

Well all primed and ready to go - the detail on the damaged head is great (it will not take me long to make a total mess of this detail with a good dolop of paint. )

Well first dollops of paint on the head to cover up all the wonderful detail. Using Humbrol for the metal plates and eyeball ( think they are a finer grind than the Vallejo - but you have to wait so long for them to dry ) now back on with the ships !!!
