Thankyou Dave, not as tiny as what you work with though!
But still very intricate.

Well done Kev. They look a lot better than the Heller 1/72 items I had to work with. Any chance you'll make me some replacements? Lol!!!

Thanks Chris. I'm sure I can knock you up a pair of 1/72nd scale items for next meeting.
I hope my next is always better

Well I'm declaring this one as finished.
Last few bits attached and paintwork done on aerials etc, and an overall Satin varnish applied, and the masking from canopy removed.

Model represents a Messerschmitt Me262B-1/U1, Werk no. 111980 Red '12' 10/Natchjagdgeschwader 11, Schleswig, Germany. May 1945.

Hope you like it, some pictures follow:-

Thanks for your kind comments guys.

Onto the next one, this time a License built variant the 'Avia S-92' from Czechoslovakia.

During the end of the second world war production of the Messerschmitt Me262 was being severely hampered by the Allied bombing campaign. So production  lines were set set up in Czechoslovakia, in attempt to maintain production, but the end of the war came before any meaningful examples came off them. At the end of the war a newly installed government decided to put into production their own version of the Me262, it being identical albeit with a home built copy of the Jumo 04 engines. 12 single seat examples and a small number of twin seaters were built, and used in the new Czech air force for a short period of time. When they came under the umbrella of the Soviet Union, production ceased and the manufacturing of Mig-15's began and then to equip the Czech Air Force, as part of the Warsaw Pact.

This model is a Trumpeter one, with decals from the Eduard boxing of the the two seater. At moment almost complete and painted in RLM 02 Grau overall.
Once decals have dried some washes and filters will be applied before adding the undercarriage, aerial/DF loop and pitot tube.
Some pictures, thanks for looking :-

A fine model but it just looks wrong with Czech roundels, lol!!! The B looks great especially with the Kettenkrad.
