I said to one of my female neighbour's " come and see my banana" and she gave me a very funny look. Its a good job she has a sense of humour and knows I am a keen gardener.

How far would I get with 'Would you like to come up and see my photo etch?'

I obtained a period fire tender from Adrian, it is a B.W Models kit.
This is of course 1/76 and although not quite right it will have to do until I buy the correct one.
Some of the B. W Models are available from https://lakelandmilitarymodels.com/home-1
This kit is the Thornycroft Mk 5, TFB80.
I will post some photos later, dinner is ready, and then I need to get some potatoes planted.

Well, if you have never built a B.W kit here are a few pointers.
The cab was not square.
Some of the castings are incomplete and have holes in them.
So you really do have to be prepared to do some work.

Could this be the kit to slow you down, Zak??
I have made B.W. models myself, though unique in nature and subject, they do test the modellers modelling ability to the extreme.
Cheers,
Bigkev

Slow him down -- you mean Kevin  it will take 20 mins not 3 mins.

Time? It is all relative, the faster you go the more time you have.
The older you get, the faster time goes.
It's all a bit too deep for me.

So at the risk of disappearing through the hole in the afternoon, here it is being built.
Walked from Sewerby to Bridlington and put in 2x 30 ft. rows of potatoes, so as you can see I do other things as well.
