My Thunerbirds book says six pods.
Which Thunderbirds book do you have?
The Complete Book of Thunderbirds by Chris Bentley.
Models's looking great Dave.

I bought this at Scalemodelworld and was very disappointed on opening the box, not much in there and expensive.
No where near as good as Thunderbird 2 and launch bay.
I started it on Thursday and have now finished it, again 1:350 scale.

No, more Thunderbirds, maybe some scratch building.
That will be after the Playday tomorrow though.

Thunderbird 1 looks good in its bay. Shame that you felt let down by the kit.
Will your next foray be another sci-fi subject?

I forgot the comma (now replaced), so yes, more Thunderbirds!

I managed to put these together on the Playday, they now need painting.

Here is the pilot of Thunderbird 1 - Scott Tracy, he looks a bit scary at the moment, I will try to tone things down a bit. He looks nothing like the real (?) one, if there ever was a real one?
Not sure about the lining, maybe too stark.

Unsure of the scale, he is about 7cm high or thereabouts.

I was following the box artwork for the sash colours -they are all wrong and should be as follows:
Scott    pale yellow
Virgil   orange
Alan     pale blue
Gordon   Off white
John     Lilac

Will I repaint them, time will tell.

Here it is awaiting a coat of varnish.

Looks better in this photo. Is his sash to be repainted in Pale Yellow?
