You can tell they are wargaming figures, they are all squat and kind if well built.  I really like the look of them and it makes me want to wargame again.... not another hobby!!
Great paint job Zak.
Andy.

Here is the Panzer III Ausf J (early), coat of clear and  transfers /decals / stickers applied.
The wheels are all in one, not two wheels as it really should be. I guess for wargaming, models need to be more robust.
Still to pin wash, highlight, weather, matt varnish and a light dust with weathering powder. Not neccesarily in that order!

I forgot to say this is a plastic kit, as was the Flak 37.
Most of the figures were plastic.

The Flak 37, heavy machine gun and mortar crews were white metal.
I think for figures, white metal gives better definition and slimmer figures!

Judicious use of the hair dryer has allowed some fast progress on the tank.

Hi Zak,
Nice looking model.
Did you use the hairdryer to help the decals to conform, or was it to aid drying of the paint.
Bigkev
I hope my next is always better

Both, and to evaporate the thinners from the pin wash. I used burnt umber for this rather than black oil paint.

Impressive models Dave with a good level of detail for the scale.
