I've found that the Vallejo putty lifts very easily when trying to smooth it out with a little water and is not as friendly when sanding as it's said to be. But that could just be me. PPP my filler of choice.

Hi Chris,
I have had similar expericenes with Vallejo, probably not quite robust as PPP.

I hope my next is always better

A different colour on the open box and the blood splatter added to the front - masking tape to be removed showing the windscreen wiper area.
Driver fitted - just noticed I have not painted his hair - don't photos show up the mistakes.

Well its only been two years before removing the masking tape off the windscreen - must be some type of record  ::) ::) ::) ::)
Now to find the box with the figures and machine guns in it  >:( >:( >:( >:(
Then at least Chris will be happy that the zombies are out again  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Some newspapers and magazines made to put on the road - more rubbish to keep Chris happy  ::) ::) ::)

More bits and bobs to go in the street, just needs some rust paint and dirt - do you recognize anything Haddock  ;D ;D ;D ;D

PVA and small broken up brick added to the base.
When dry and solid will shake off the extra loose brick and then add some powdered brick to blend it all in, then its adding the rest of the rubbish to the street.  Starting to look like the street I live on, just needs messing up some more - YoHoHo

Looking very good Martin. It even has the Banksie-esque wall art. The rubbishy publications are great.

Banksie style rat was on the other model but this one only has the zombie with/without balloon - all hand painted.
The last 3 photos are the small loose brick removed from the base and then PVA and brick dust added - when dry will remove all loose stuff and see how it has ended up.
