Hi all,
A little more progress on with this one.
I have made a spurious handling trolley to sit the aircraft on. Made out of strip plasticard, and some wheels from the spares box. A test fit showed it lined up okay with float, and the wheels sat nicely in between the main float and engine nacelles.
All ready for the trolley to get an undercoat before painting the scheme probably, RLM 02 Grau.
The canopy has been attached with Kristal Kleer, and as with Trumpeter Me262's the rear section will need a bit of building up with filler to get a smooth transition to the fuselage.

You know Chris, I did actually and thought about perhaps doing one, just need another couple of sets of wings.....

Hi All,
Now the weather is cooler and hopefully a little wetter, I feel I can model again. So back to the bench to give the airframe some colour.
As it is a 'what if' I chose to paint it in Hellblau 76 for the undersides, Lichtgrun and Schwarzgrun for the uppers and mottling along fuselage.
Once properly dry, will give it the once over for any touch ups, then a couple of coats of Kleer.
