Hi All,
Project a bit further on. Cockpit now painted. The nose wheel bay has been filled with Milliput, and I've added a little plasticene and some lead shot in front of the cockpit, a similar process has been done to the upper nose also.
I hope my next is always better

Looking good. I usually put weight in the front of the engine nacelles as well to stop tail-sitting. Are you going the 'whole hog' and making a beaching trolley?

Hi Chris,
Yes, I have also added plasticene and lead shot to the engine nacelle fronts. I'm also making a beaching/handling trolley for it to sit upon.

Main airframe now complete. I had a little problem with one of the engines. I lost one of the nose cones to the carpet monster. Grrrr......
So, having an Eduard Me262 in the stash, and having a resin open engine for it, I decided to cut off the front edge off one and mate it to the now 3/4 built Trumpeter version.
A little bit of fettling and a dab of filler and I had something that matched. (Note I still need to add the bullet fairing in this one)
Then it was sprayed in Tamiya Grey Primer, a few touch ups here and there, and now ready for float assemblies, mounting hole already drilled.
I hope my next is always better
