Mainmast with signal haliyards added.

That's a lot of rigging.
Do you use different diameters for different types?
It is difficult to tell on the photo.

There are THREE different sizes, I'm not sure it makes much difference, it depends how much you stretch the thread.
Streching to twice the free length reduces the diameter by about 25%, it takes four times to get to 50%.
The lower masts are the original plastic so you've got to be very careful not to bend them out of plumb.

It varies considerably. I don't model every day but I should think the latest creation has been in progress for more than a week,
rigging-wise.
Sometimes things go smoothly, other times I wonder if I should take up doing jigsaw puzzles.
I don't bother about time, too much like being at work.

Jigsaws may be easier but you won't get the same effect. Excellent as always Tony.

Nice boats, you'll be opening your own pool soon!

Bath time in Haddocks house must be interesting, most boys only have one model boat at Bath time. Ho, ho, ho, ho

Very nice Mr Haddock. I don't know how you model at that scale.

Progress is painfully slow although I  have been making bases
for "lockdown! models which I hadn't bothered to do at the time.
I've abandoned the bespoke set of railings as I just can't get them
to fit as I want and resorted to generic railings, probably not historically
        correct but who'se to know.
So that's foredeck and quarterdeck done, plus some boats.
Just the midships section to do which may be problematic because of
     ships boats in the way.
