This is going to be using the Revell kit modified with Model Alliance decals.
The kit is for the HAS  6 or the AEW 2 but is easily modified to the Asac 7.

This promises to be an interesting looking build. I had to look online to see what Asac meant, doh!!!

Some sub assembles done. The parts are all cleanly moulded - nice to work with. The fine detail is good.

Its always a pleasure to build a nicely made and moulded kit.
Grumpy by name and nature

Here is the bulk of the fuselage built with a couple of other main assemblies. Now to add all the radar jammers and all the bits and bobs etc. to the fuselage.

Nice Chris,
I see the radome is inflated, was this a planned display of the Asac 7, or limited by what was on offer parts wise?
Cheers,
Bigkev

It's limited by what's in the kit. I have seen some modellers use parts of a rubber glove thumb but it didn't look right. I actually do have a photo with the AEW2 with the inflated bag in that position. So while not common it is possible.

Hi Chris,
thanks for the update, just goes to show you that research pays off.
I could have let you have several rubber gloves though.....
Looking forward to seeing the finished item.
