Brass bar filed to make a winch for the ford deck for the anchor and rope handling.
When ford deck is dry will drill hole in the deck, fasten the anchor to the other side of the deck and place chain between them - that's the plan at the moment.

Anchor fitted to ford deck and top brass and camera man on the dock side.

Who's a busy boy then, lots going on here.
I love the creation of something from nothing.

Just for you Zak - the first missile.  Decided to replace the brass fins with acrylic, just easier to get neat and the correct size.

The ford tank turret has now been started.

Ford tank turret?
I presume you salty types mean forward tank turret?

Forward to you and ford to me - but I hope we all know what I mean.
Some more work on the FORD turret and a start made on the machine gun turret above the wheelhouse.
MSea

MSea

Bits and bobs added to the machine gun turret and a coat of primer on both turrets.

Thanks Zak -  very very roughly based on the T34 tank turret for the ford turret and a T28 machine gun turret for the wheelhouse.

Hi Msea,
Some nice work there. To be accurate shouldn't it be "'ford"................?
Don't we take pleasure in giving you stick............
We will suffer I fear..........!
