Hi All,
Have retackled the paint job, and sprayed some Tamiya White Primer over the whole of the airframe. This evened everything out nicely. so next job is a quick check for any area's that need filling/sanding and then an overall light sand/polish before spraying a coat of pink undercoat in readiness for the yellow.

Whilst the paint is hardening and drying, I looked at the rotor assembly. Revell seem to have moulded this so it sits too high on the fuselage. To make the rotor sit lower I pared some of the rotor shaft, and then drilled out the mounting holes in the rotor itself. Together with these refinements it sits much better and closer to the top of the fuselage.

I have been struggling today, I even contacted AJM Models in Poland by email, he admitted that some parts are missing and is sending me some by air mail.
Here I am tearing my hair out (well I would if I had any) and using nautical language!

There are some parts labelled and some not, its a bit of a nightmare at the moment, vague instructions, repeated in different ways,
I am making progress, but why is it so difficult.

Look at all this etched brass and detail, once the deck is on it can hardly be seen, it will hopefully make a nice model in the end.

Have just watched "47 Ronin" again to look at skin colours and used Vallejo dark flesh with medium and flat as high/low. 
Will let it dry but think I am going to have to use a darker brown to get a more correct colour
