General Discussion / Northern Model Show, 7 June 20...

On Sunday 7th June, Chris W, Bob C, Adrian M and Myself attended and displayed at the Northern Model Show, held at the Park Leisure Centre, North Shields.
The venue is well known to the club and has great access, and good parking. We were allocated two tables giving us a 12 ft frontage. Bob and Chris had the cloths on the table and all set up before I arrived. My wife Christine came along for the day and throughout the day, we all took it in turns to man the table.
We had a good selection of kits and the table was nicely presented, though we could have done with some ships.........
The show was quite busy in the morning, and definitely busier than Sword and Lance held a fortnight beforehand. A good selection of Traders were also present, and I think it was Adrian who parted with more cash than the rest of us combined. Nice to see him so enthused and into modelling again.
We met a few familiar faces from other clubs, and it was nice to have a chat about our latest projects and future ideas.
A great day, which seemed to go fairly quickly.
