Hi Dave,
Did you ever get around to finishing the barrage balloon?

I think you have gone through many/most of the vehicles that were used by Fighter Stations in 1940.

I just can't wait (although I will of course) to see tham all in real life.

Fire truck, ambulance? Running out of ideas.
Show a picture of all you have so far, if that's possible Dave.
Hi Chris, I have sent you 3 small videos.
Here are some photos of the same.
If anyone wants to see the videos than e mail me.
I watched the videos you emailed. They are really good and show off your models well. That is a really excellent diorama Dave. Maybe you could hang up your glue pot for a while?

Here is an MG for Christopher Plummer.
It looks better than the red one and sits lower.

First prize, well done, an Austin 12/4 from 1937.

Here you go Dave, claimed to be 85 squadron's crew taxi at Church Fenton in September 1940. The Apocryphal tale is it appeared at Church Fenton after a night out in Leeds, was concealed on the base for a time before reappearing camouflaged in dark earth/dark green with the 85 squadron checkers and a roundel on the doors. Apparently it never ventured to Leeds but was frequently spotted in York.

Many thanks for this Francis, I was going to make it as the one in the BOB film, where they are in London at a bombed out street.
But this is certainly a novel idea, a crew taxi, well I never.

More progress, the wings were formed from green stuff around a former.
It is quite an odd filler.

I think Francis has a good idea for the colour of your taxi Zak - it will link in with the other vehicles etc.
