Yes, I should, but I was worried that I might overdo it, remember all those beautifully clean aircraft that our club members built, surely they did not drip oil?
I will do at some stage Tony, a light pass with a wash in the airbrush or some pastel weathering perhaps?

Have you tried "spattering" different colours with a tooth-brush, it's a bit random but effective.

Here are two 90 cm searchlights, they are not quite exact as the plans were very sketchy, but a representation.
