No it got packed away when I was going to have new flooring and furniture for my model room - so lots of things got put in boxes in the garage so they didn't get damaged.
Strange that you mentioned it, as I was putting down underlay in the garage over the last 2 days and saw this model (well the box at least) and thought must finish this one soon - so you never know .

You could give the table design to Howard as it looks like a Japanese seat.

I've been a bit slow reading this one, I like the Vietnam era.

Only one for me Andy is "Apocalypse Now" -- I love the smell of napalm in the morning.
Will tell you about my time and the personnel grenades and also the Vietnamese bear when I was there

Great film, I would say almost a horror film.
I like Platoon.  It comes very close to getting the platoon politics just about right.
Would like to hear your Vietnam stories in person one day.
Andy.

I like platoon, but Bat21 is one of my favourites, there used to be a TV series called tour of duty that was ok.

I liked them all, found Apocalypse Now o bit odd, but liked the idea of capturing beaches for surfing on.

Yes I thought so too. Some good scenes in it though.
Both Platoon and Full Metal Jacket were good. Hamburger Hill was a bit different.
When We Were Soldiers Once and Young was also a good film. The book was very good.
