Today I have managed to paint the seat harnesses using a 20/0 brush and a steady hand.
The aim was to give an impression of seat buckles and fastenings.
The fuselage has had the nose and tail parts on the port side glued in place, and a test fit of the centre section to see what other work needs to be done.

A bit more progress.
I have sprayed the cockpits with a Matt varnish to tone down the Kleer, and also to seal in the decals and belts.
Then I installed both cockpits into each of the Me262's and joined the fuselages together. The B-2 had the centre section added in place taking care to match the fuselage contours as best as I could. On the B-1 I added the wings too, and used Tamiya tape to help everything in place whilst the glue dries.
The B-2 wing section need an additional fillet adding so I did this from plasticard, and once dry shaped it to match the kit part.
Although not glued in place I did a dry fit to see how it fitted into the extended fuselage and was pleased to see it was pretty good. Some filling will be needed and the forward wing fairing needs making from Milliput and carved to shape.
