She has nice new shiny plastic pegs -- bought her these as a joke a few years ago at Christmas ( all wrapped up with a bow )  then when she did not want them they disappeared into my modelling stash.

Cooooool!
That was advanced thinking.
Pegs to use, and you made her feel good by buying her plastic ones.
Result.

No fly's on MSea just footprints.
Accommodation blocks fitted - please note all windows/portholes drilled and cleaned up to shape with a scalpel -- and yes I still have all fingers and thumbs in working order.  Next 3 decks primed ready to fit and cover up all the work on the accommodation blocks - but heho its only for FUN.

The top deck has several support pillars to give it strength -- I find that when fitting this they always splay out and become a pain in the £"$.
So I don't bother fitting them, but drill out the holes and fit a section of brass bar from the top when the deck has been fitted into place. The bar in the photo is just to show how they are fitted, the correct ones will be cut to length before fitting.

Hi Msea,
Looking 'ship shape and Bristol fashion'.
I always like to see an alternative soloution to a modelling problem.
What you have done looks good. Have a 'Gold Star' today.
Cheers,
Bigkev

Young ones?
I think not.
Old ones (gits) maybe!

Just to keep haddock happy - back on the Orel taking on coal.
The figures are Tamiya set No12622 this is a set of 144 figures in 1/350 scale.

Decided it would be easier to make a flat section of card and add cat litter for the coal and also the workmen in the hold.
When it is all finished it will be added to the bottom of the hull - rather than try to add all this stuff  through the open hatch - that's the plan at the moment so we shall see how it goes.

Coal added to the hold and painted - just the men to add now.
Will anybody notice this at all -- very doubtful but Haddock will know its there.

Figures on the right have been made as if they are in the hold moving coal about, before somebody says they would be totally covered in coal dust and you would not see them - its only a model and for FUN.

Figures added to the hold when solid will fasten the card and coal/figures to the bottom of the hull.
