Torpedo net operating bars, with operating wires fasten on.
Bars fastened to ships side, when solid will chop the wires and fasten to the nets.

Hi Msea,
No torpedo's will make it through those nets.
Nice detailed work Msea, and all from your ingenuity, great stuff.

Torpedo net operating bars replaced on the port side - the original ones not very strong and pinged off when working on the other side of the ship. New ones are just bent brass bar fastened into a hole in the ships side.

back to some modelling at last. Working on the ships boats - thinning down the thwarts and sides. The second photo is the boats in marked plastic tops so I don't forget which is which,  the things in the pegs are the small gun barrels.

Thank you Haddock.
Some of the 11pdr guns had the barrels broken off, so had to replace with brass tube.  Now replacing all of the other 11pdr gun barrels, also decided that I should have replaced the 75mm barrels but heho its only a model and for fun ( also it would be a problem to remove them from the model ) so will put a black dot on the barrel ends.
