Afternoon all,

firstly, acknowledgement to the late Frank Zappa for the title inspiration.

In the event that any of you have noticed my absence from the site and meetings lately, I'm sorry to say I'll be making a gentle comeback!  Various distractions have kept me away from what I like to think of as my main hobby and from you lot, my mates!

I'm just attempting to recover from a particularly nasty throat infection that had been building up for some time and has robbed my of my energy and motivation to do anything other than lie down and breath but I'm looking forward to getting the bench sorted out and returning to meetings.  AGM in March is my goal so hopefully see you there.

zak

I know how you feel, just recovering from FLU - not manful, this was the real thing.
Hopefully see you soon.
Cheers

Thanks and my sympathies Zak.  I think I had a touch of that stuff mixed in with it.  Speedy recovery to you.

Welcome back, I look Forward to your humour again :)

Thanks.  It's been a while since I felt the hot breath of the Moderator on the back of my neck!  :-)

Hi Wizzel,

Don't worry, I'm still here in the background, my breath 'super-heated' in case you get carried away!!!

I too, have been absent from the scene for a few months, but I am 'lurking' and 'looking' on a regular basis. Nice to see you back, (oh, and your front) hope to see you at March meeting, work prevailing...........

And Zak, hope you are feeling a lot better now, I know how 'real' flu really lays you low. Get well soon, I look forward to seeing you at next meeting all being well............

In the meantime I'll keep on moderating from a safe distance!

Cheers,
Bigkev
I hope my next is always better

Roger

Who knew that Frank Zappa was a modeller?!  Makes me feel almost cool to be in such company.
