Minimen

I wonder if anyone has come across these? Manufactured under the name Minimen this was a series of white metal kits based on the Zulu War. Good detail for their time (c.1980/90) but have since disappeared.

I had a huge interest in the Zulu War - still do in fact - and had quite a lot of white metal Zulu figures way back when.  Don't know the manufacturer as mine came either loose or in bags with no header cards, from a shop in Hull, the name and location I cannot recall.  The figures were exceptionally detailed and had all the correct adornments for the different ibuthos as well as advice on corresponding shield colours.  I often look out for these things too, for sentimental reasons as much as owt else, as now I am married, it is unlikely I would be allowed to have enough spending money to but enough to recreate a 54mm diorama of Isandlwana!
