VISIT OF TED WINKLER - SEPTEMBER MEETING

An elderly German named Ted,
wants to give us a talk, so he's said.
Well a box was put out,
but of questions, there's nowt
So he may as well stay home instead.

Its a shame is that, sounded like a good opportunity to hear it "from the horses mouth"

He's still coming, but the talk will be tailored to me, being as how I'm the only one that posed any questions.  The limerick was a manifestation of my huge disappointment and frustration over the matter.  It was that or fly over to Syria and bomb IS and that seems to be way out of order - judging on the way the world is letting them have their way.

Sorry, am I off on one again???  I'll go and have a nice cup of tea, that'll make things better

Well, calm done Dave, as I am not really into aircraft I did not pose any questions.
You would have thought that some of the flying types would have shown some interest.
Is he coming in September?
That meeting may just be a show post mortem?

Hi Wizzel,

Don't fret old boy. As usual, it seems that few people take note of what others do to try and make things more interesting and varied.
I did say to you at the meeting that I would send you some questions for Ted and,  I will. I was too busy to put anything in the box on the night.
I reckon Ted will be give an interesting insight from a different point of view.

Will try to get them to you this week.
