so, how`s the boat coming on then?
This is it to date, can't go much further till I get some generic railings and ladders which will be next week. Still lots of small detail to add to make it look more "busy" but probably won't get fitted till some of the brass is added. Now I can get on with the base.

...coming along very nicely. It does look a bit "bare" at this stage, but knowing you, once you`ve got your bits and Bobs it will soon look busy enough.
By the way, a serious question, when is a boat a ship? I have never known the difference!

Neither do I. I think it dates back to the days of sailing ships and the way they were rigged. I went to sea in fishing boats but signed on ships, so there you go, perhaps our merchant seamen could enlighten us.

I have found this in the Internet::::

What is the definition of a boat versus a ship?

The Historic Ships Committee have designated a vessel below 40 tons and 40 ft in length as a boat. However, submarines and fishing vessels are always known as boats whatever their size.

So now we know., or do we know of any anomalies?

Don't think " shrink pic" is working. I've re-installed it but keep getting " file too large" grrrrrrrr.

Cheers. My computer has been playing up not being able to post pictures, hence the visual silence.
I think it's fixed now so stand by your beds.
