its only me trying to get photos small enough to send

Wizzel

There's a free bit of software called shrinkpic that compresses the size of your photos.  I got it originally for the newsletter (Andy used it before me) but as it is there all the time and runs in the background, it will compress ALL pictures you attach to any email or post to social media sites.  Perhaps it will help.

Are you sure it's switched on. You should have the shrink-pic icon at the bottom RH of your screen. Let your mouse hover over the icon and you should get the message " shrink pic running " if you click on this it will bring up the shrink-pic page, there is a box to tick that says " enable poto compression " and  there are three levels of compression to choose from, I use the middle one. If this don't work I should contact Andy, he sorted me out.
Haddock.
As an after thought, when I take my pictures, I crop them to a suitable size before letting shrink-pic do it's stuff.

I use Fatstone photo resizer and usually crop my pictures before or after resizing, its all very technical isn't it.

Hi Msea.

Like Zak, I find Fatstone resizer quite easy to use. It doesn't really matter which you use, the key thing is not exceed the allowed limit 2Mb per post, and no more than a total of 10 pictures in total.

We await to see your post with pictures in due course.

I hope my next is always better
