P 38 Lighting 1:48

So another kit from that job lot that I bought, ist from a company called Nichimo whom I had never heard of but now know to avoid in the future. They are in the same class as SMER, but never mind, lets see what we can make of it shall we. There is no detail, the cockpit is as moulded into the fuselage (nothing there then), and it took me 10 mins to find the small parts on the sprue amongst all the Flash!  I am sure we can make it look superficially ok.

So folks, here is the piece of sheet! I followed the destructions and placed not only the 30 gramms of weight in the nose to prevent it sitting back but 40 gramms, and guess what ....it sits back. So this model is destined to remain on its stand, or I glue the nose wheel to a base of some sort. Annoying!
