Being a retired teacher, I guess you can't afford much in the way of paint!

Hi Meremodeller,

Could it be you are using paint masks rather than decals/transfers, as the top appears to be masked roundel blue. Is the underside going to have the roundels masked prior to the paint finish underneath applied?

Or did a certain model shop run out of the required paint colour again?
