Here's one half of the type 279 radar, the other half is on top of the main-mast. The proportions aren't right and it looks a bit clumsy but it might have to do, it does show the main features of the system. If at first you don't succeed, blame someone else.

I always do, but it never seems to work.
I have something for the maritime contest so don't fret.
Grumpy by name and nature

Haddock

Seems a shame to spoil the effect but now this water needs some ripples.

Never mind, 'Still' it looks good, ripples or not!

At the risk of being a boring old fart, I think it's done so this will be the last post on building HMS Roberts, hope you've found it entertaining.

Hi Haddock,

I have enjoyed every instalment, the great pictures, and the skill you exude.

Can we have another one soon please, perhaps after you have picked up a 'bargain' at Our Show this weekend?

Great Stuff, and NO your not an 'Old Fart', just a great modeller.

Doing some catching up on the site and came accross you work. Very fine indeed sir, worthy of much praise and I wish that I was half as good!

Haddock

Aw shucks, there's no need for all that, now I'm embarrassed!!but thanks anyway.
