Green with envy.
My modelling is still on hold.
Daughter, husband and granddaughter have just arrived for the weekend.
You have been a busy little ship-builder.
Looking forward to seeing the finished product - will it be in the Maritime competition?
If so, I may not bother.
See you Monday night no doubt.

Good meeting on Monday chaps, well done to Tony W.
Not a lot of progress this week up to now, need to get the crew motivated, might try threats of redundancy, see if that works.
You need to look closely to see the changes.

Sorry for the blurred images, you should see some railings and ladders, plus some radar antenna whose parentage is open to question!

Hi Haddock,

Nice work, and I CAN SEE the railings and ladders!

Good tip with the close up pictures on Monday night. I will give that a try.

Looking good, green with envy...........................

Wish I was one step behind you skillwise.

Bigkev
I hope my next is always better

The secret is to employ good staff then keep their noses to the grindstone.

Here's a bit better pic of the radar antenna, the colour is horrible but you can't have every-thing.
   Haddock.
These photo's don't half show up the naughty bits, good job though, now I can do something about it.

Here's a bit of rigging going on. Yard lifts and braces don't quite look right, not really tight enough, still, it will have to do.

This is what it looks like with some of the AA guns added, you need to look closely to see 'em.

Now we have some signal halyards................and a funnel grill.
This week, starting Saturday, we're having relations for six days so modelling will have a back seat!
Haddock. ( fed up from Saturday)

Hope your not getting bored with all this drivel, I get worried when I don't see any rude comments.

Some of these small parts are a test of manhood, I've probably failed.

AA armament fully fitted now plus most of the radar. The last bit goes on top of each mast and will have to be scratch-built, Trumpeter have got it horribly wrong.
Haddock.

Getting as much done as I can before we have relations!

Here's a bit more detail, that bent wire will have to go!

I think that looks better, it's actually where the A frame should be when not in use, can't find any images of it deployed, I'm sure Tony. W. will enlighten us in the fullness of time.
The camera is proving to be a useful modelling tool, it picks things up that you can't see with the naked eye, or at least, I can't.

That's relations over for another year, I'm suffering from nervous exhaustion.
Made some progress, still lots to do.
