                                                             Hope you're still watching!
Here's episode one, water-lined and some of the main structure prepped, nothing is fixed except the hull halves and the internal bracing. Now the fun starts, some of the etched brass needs fixing early on in the build, things like watertight doors and gussets( I do like fixing gussets). These are easy to fix, just lop em off the fret and fix with Johnson's for the doors and superglue for the gussets.
All the brass frets have a thin self-adhesive film protecting each side, you can cut away the film each side before removing the part leaving the rest of the parts still protected. Nice touch I thought.
There are 3 frets but I've only shown 1, I'm about to remove part 20, it goes on the funnel.

Cheers, my eyeballs need a rest.

Wowser yowser.  It's lovely to see this work in progress Haddock.  I've always admired your finished ships but to see one come together is a bit of a treat.  I've never worked with brass before and putting something like this together would be an achievement to strive for.  Keep us updated as this goes on PLEASE.

Watch this space Wizzel.

You'll never get it finished if you spend so much time in Croppers!

And here's the main topmast mounted in position. There is yet a radar antenna to fix to the topmost vertical piece above the platform . It looks a bit like a telly aerial.
