How to post events in the Forum Calendar

To create an event in the Club Forum Calendar - select the Calendar icon from the list at the top of the forum and then click Post Event option highlighted in red in the screen shot below




Then populate all the details of the event, date and time or all day event plus the details and location and then click the Post button to post it to the calendar. 



The Calendar event is also posted into the forum as a new topic entry - you can select which Topic category to post the new event into as well.

Hi Mike, when adding an event to the calendar, is it possible to not add an entry elsewhere? I was thinking of adding the club meetings and modelling days which just need an entry in the calendar.

Hi,

To choose where the new calendar event gets posted into the forum select the location when creating the event.  See the attached screen shot for info.

Is it not possible to add the event in the calendar without posting the event in any of the forum categories?
For instance it would be useful to add all the monthly meetings on the calendar only. We do not need further information.  Thanks.
