Magach 6B
« on: October 20, 2023, 03:22:26 PM »
This is the Academy 1/35 scale Magach 6B Gal Batash (Israeli version of the M60).
It's an oldish kit with some all new parts, started it last Saturday and it's going together nicely.
Some holes in the hull will have to be blanked off, it must have been motorised when it first appeared.

Were you inspired by recent events to dig this one out of the stash?

I now have an Academy M48 and it looks very like the Tamiya one, even with the holes that have no purpose?

Yes Chris out to you,  I think that in the far distant past  a lot of Tamiya and Academy kit were motorised and they just didn?t bother tooling new hulls.

Some more work done, just need to paste some anti-slip paint on the added armour and then slap some paint on.

The kit detail looks really good, no doubt a coat of paint will make it look even better.

Hopefully will have it finished in the next couple weeks, but will not be at a club night until January.

Hi Bob,
What do you use for the anti-slip paint? It looks really effective.
