The M151 was developed in the 1950's. It had a 4 cylinder 2.3 litre OHV engine. 4 speed with 4 wheel drive,
Ford began production in 1959 and later models were built by Kaiser Jeep and AM General.
This is the M151A1 version from 1964, various upgrades had been made.
Around 200,000 version of the M151 were produced.
Essentially a Jeep upgrade.

This is the Tamiya version under construction.
I will build this as a Marine Corps version.

On the Modelling Day, I started this Academy version, it is not the same as the Tamiya and includes a full engine. This is the M151A1 version.

The Tamiya one has had the wheels added and some weathering.
Decals added as well.
Just the driver to add and some dry brushing to do, then a bit more weathering.
