How to beat a Robot fighting machine
« on: November 23, 2021, 10:13:51 AM »
Another 3D printed model from Wayne - started at playday 5 and spent a lot of time smoothing some of the panels, the building has a coat of filler/glue and has been marked out as medieval stone walls, next job is to remove some between the stone blocks and then add colour. Then its back to do some more on the Russian cruiser Varyag, honest Haddock !!!!

No Kevin remember in the bad old days ( that's 2011 to you) I made a scratch built model of the same genre - not as good as the 3D pronted one from Wayne but I was happy at the time

Coat of hull red on the machine so it can be covered in a different colour and then chipped and some removed. At the moment not sure what colour will be used on the main panels.

Thanks Chris - base coat of pale grey on the stones, when dry will start to add shading and other colours to the base coat

After a coat of Pledge have started to put dots of colour on the stones and washed them in with a wet brush.
When they are all done and I am happy with them it will be a coat of base colour over the top to blend them together
