That's fabulous!  I love the way you can tackle any type of model and produce something amazing.  How are you finding the static grass application?  I love it, it add that finishing touch.

I now have a burning desire to find an old ZX Spectrum and waste the rest of my life playing Manic Miner!
I saw tour grass and decided to have a go.
I like the effect and with the layering spray it gets even better.
I mix different colours as well.

Yes, you can produce an endless variety of terrain styles by mixing lengths and colours.  I didn't buy any aerosol layering spray but use a spray bottle with diluted matt mod podge instead.  I do have a spray can of Halfords lacquer though so I may try that and see what happens.  A lot of people airbrush the grass too as well as mixing colours as I found out from watching videos on the you tube.

Yes, a lot of good stuff on the net.
As I get more adventurous I may try other techniques.
At the moment I am struggling to model, after a weeks visit from the mother in law.
I need to get my brain back in focus.

The sequence will be something like this.
Loaded trucks arrive
One is uncoupled
Truck is taken up the incline
The ore is tipped into the truck
Truck is righted
Empty (ish) truck is left in siding
Loco returns down the incline to pick up another
Once three are up the top they return to the bottom for more ore.

Nice work in progress, hope the veg and fruit tastes nice....from the allotment.

Great looking diorama. Same question as ever - Where are you going to put it?

Well, it will have another 3 foot extension as well, so who knows, the garage?
Didn't really think it through did I.
Thought it would give the grandkids something to play with?

Will you be able to post a short video of it when it's running. I'm sure that would be of interest to us all.
