Bin made to hold the scrolls.

Metal banding on the chest and some PVA rivets on the cross of the bands. 
When dry will paint bands with dark grey and dry brush the rivets silver.

I'm not sure if I am looking forward to the finished article or not, but I am enjoying the build.

Thanks Chris and if you enjoy at least some of it Zak it will have been worth it.
Now we can see Zak is plastered again ( sorry could not resist that one) floor and one wall have a coat of plaster, will engrave flagstones and bricks into them when dry.

Books and scrolls added to the bookcase - now need to go and make evn more. Also the larger scrolls put into the bin.

Floor and wall cleaned up and the flagstones,bricks and stones marked and engraved - next some paint.

It all looks good to me, are you going to be interviewed on the telly with the bookcase behind you, they seem to have a competition as to who has the best one.

Martin will have to shrink a bit. I think the bookcase was only a few inches tall!

Yes Chris only 3 inches tall - so I would be only about 2 inches but still causing problems.
Some different colours on the flagstones and some bricks have colour on them  - next a coat of varnish and then some washes.
