A bit more work done on the Gigant today.

zak

I have just come across the build of one of these in your scale, it was in a magaxine from Martin.
Grumpy by name and nature

Gigant painted and weathered with just the 'little bits' to add which would have broken off when weathering. Also in the photo are older kits which I'm resurrecting. The Opel Blitz has had a bit more work done on it, the Krupp Protze needs glazing and a few bits adding and the SdKfz 11 half track is having it's chassis and drive train repaired. The second photo is my attempt at converting the trailer from the Airfix M3 half track into a Grosser Druckluftzeuger 34 (liquid oxygen pump trailer). Searches online and in my references show varying types so I can get away with a bit of 'artistic license' here. The wheels will be correct, lol!!!
The photos are a bit grainy as the light was fading.

Nice to see you keeping 'Busy'

I hope my next is always better

Trailer finished and weathered, as are the rest of the vehicles. I now think I should have used 5 thou card instead of 10 as the doors seem a bit thick. Handles are from Evergreen strip and the exhaust and whatever it is hanging at the back are from scrap sprue. The wheels are spares from Roden and Esci builds. I've noticed on this and a couple of other builds that if you let the Vallejo Bronze Green primer show through it gives an interesting camouflague effect.
