I've got you booked the first post Covid flight, so you've plenty of time to prepare, but don't forget your mask!!
This is the second painting of the A4 as I wasn't happy with the first attempt. Originally it was going to be two greens and sand but one of the greens just didn't look right so I overpainted that with more Schwarzgrun. One thing you have to be VERY careful with when building the A4 is that there are 4 very, very fine pieces sticking out from the rear of the fins which after looking online I found to be aerial leads. Several online photos show the Meillerwagen being towed from what is normally the rear end so I thought I'd go with this for something different. Once I get the A-Stoffanhanger and Vidalwagen built I'll revisit this diorama.

Nice, I have a soft spot for V2 related things.
You will need a launch control vehicle and all the other stuff - tankers and so on, generator trucks rtc.

Thanks everyone. I've got the A-Stoffanhanger to build and will scratchbuild the generator trailer (eventually!!). I can use the Opel Blitz tanker, as seen in a previous build, and also have the Control Post half track, but it is the Eidai 1/76 rendition so will have to go at the back. Various other vehicles will come from my 'Dark Side' collection.

A few more vehicles sourced for the launch site and which must be 30 to 40 years old. On the left is the Eidai Feuerleitpanzerfahrzeug (armoured launch control post vehicle), based on the Sd.Kfz 7/3 halftrack. A new hatch was made to replace the one lost and windscreen glazing was made using a combination of clear plastic, from a stawberry punnet lid, and Glue and Glaze. Prior to the latter a coat of Dunklegelb was applied with the original green and red-brown allowed to show through.
In the centre is the Eidai SS-100 Gigant next to the Revell offering, this also having been repainted and a windscreen fitted. Both this and the above are to 1/76 scale with the difference not being that obvious and both are a combination of click and/or glue together.
Lastly on the right is one of my first attempts at vehicle converting. Based on the Airfix Opel Blitz it will now represent a Sd.Kfz 305 Fernrakete Ersatzsteile (spare parts for the V2).

I'm still recuperating from my op, which was a success I've been told, so can't lift anything heavier than a kettle!!! This has given me lots of time to attack my stash with gusto.

Inbetween waiting for the etch brass to behave during the Vidalwagen build the parts for the 2nd SS-100 Gigant were cleaned, up and painted and a start has been made in building. This time I'll build it knowing where the pitfalls are.
