Excellent small details that always make a diorama even better.

Ditch the black it overwhelms the model.

Thanks Haddock. lining added, only a small amount of black now.
This is the present state of play, in truth the wheel fell off, it is only held on by a very small stub of plastic.

I'm still working on the scene, yes the other tyre came off during the placement, I am really going to have to look at that and brace them with some pins.
Tractor John in his spare(as yet) empire. He is looking at his Case manual.
The desk is from Diopark, the drawers do move in and out.

I am detailing the diorama with tools from two makers, MiniArt and Diopark, it is difficult to say which are best.
The Diopark ones have lots of detail and even the makers name if cast into some of the wrenches, the desk drawers open,
The MiniArt has etched details, nicer toolboxes and other things, you will see more as I progress, no doubt.
Here are a couple of photos of the box art, just to whet your appetites.

Yes, valves, everything in the picture, but they are hard to find.
I discovered them after watching a video on You Tube.

Some progress, as I paint and add tools and other bits.
The table/bench was scratch built.

Thanks Martin.
The detailing continues.
Sockets added to the walls, cables run to the bench grinder and the desk light.

Homemade Bottles and mug.

The bottles are made by heating a cotton bug very gently and stretching slightly, make sure it does not twist.
The cotton bud needs to be of the plastic variety, not the compressed paper ones.
Once stretched the cotton bud is cut to the required size.
The corks are from made with a die and punch set.

The mug is a plastic straw with a copper handle superglued on.
The mug is filled with filler and will be painted and tea added inside.
