Fujimi Sea Knight
« on: June 02, 2020, 02:50:09 PM »
This I have just finished. It's a Fujimi HH-46A Sea Knight 1/72nd scale. This kit went together very well. Just one issue  - the photograph on the box lid does not match what is inside. Added the searchlight underneath and the angled box  (some sort of chute ejection system) on the port side. This was all airbrushed using Mr Hobby paints with a small amount of brush work.

Hi Chris,
remember making the Airfix one a LONG time ago.
Did mine as a Swedish Rescue Helicopter, with Dayglo Orange tanks.
Your build has inspired me to have a go at a chopper again, but I have so many projects in my mind, can I cope with another.....!
Great build Chris,
Kevin
I hope my next is always better

Yes I have also built the Airfix model twice - once in the Sewdish livery and once in the USMC all over grey.
Here is a photo of mine - a bit dusty though.
The Fujimi kit is somewhat better than the Airfix one. It fits together much better.
Thanks chaps for the comments.

HI Chris,

Nice model. It looks good in any colour scheme.Sorry I don't contribute
to the club activities at present.I have no idea what to make next.In
that respect I really envy Kevin who seems to have lots of ideas in mind
and Dave who's out put is prolific.I haven't made anything since last November.
I do go through periods of inactivity (modelling) as most of us do but never
for this long.As I don't know how to initiate a letter, but can manage a reply,
could you distribute this to others so it explains on the website why I am an
absentee. If that is possible.I have been looking at that Bell Sioux though.

                                                               Thanks,

                                                                      John.
