Finally managed to get this finished after our trip to bonnie Scotia. The small Uranium bomb is being readied to load into the Me P.1100. Just before we went away I cut and fittted the fins for the 4 tonne Uranium bomb and used a point brush handle and tape to form the ring. I thought I'd give it plenty of time to set whilst away but on returning it had set out of shape. Perhaps the Plasic Weld had pulled it out of shape? Anyway it was no good so I reduced the height of the fins and found a suitable ring in the Ar 234 spares (what would I do without these lately?). The supplied wire was cut to size and fitted and decals were sourced from spares as were those for the trailers. Towing arms again made from 15amp fuse wire. After a coat of satin varnish it was out with the Flory washes, dirt and grey, then it was job complete.
