Decided not to put brass rails on the tug -- they look the wrong size. So cut a bit of brass shim and will use this instead.

I'm sure it will all look okay once finished............... as usual.

Decided the small scale ships and lighters needed more so have started to make a couple of ocean going tugs to vary the size of the ships around HMS Warspite.
I was just thinking again -- I must stop doing this -- but if a warship has been paid off and is on the way to the breakers is she still a HMS , or does that go when she is paid off ??

HMS Warspite taped up ready for camouflage paint. Crane now has opperating wires fitted and the ocean going tug is well under way.

The tug is looking good. I like the rails.

The main cranes fitted and started on the small deck cranes to put things into the lighters and also to remove the propeller.

Cut plate made to make the deck look busy. Cranes are now fitted and in operation.
