All precision instruments in the right hands.
Being a non-engineer, I can use a precision instrument with my left hand also!

Being an engineer the old saying is, was and always will be -- " if you can't fix it with a hammer its not fixable"

The man in the control box has been started from a German soldier by Tamiya with new head, arm replaced and equipment removed.

Can't wait for the day when the only thing left of the original is the left hand!!!

MSea

No left hand but the crane hook is now made.

Thank you Zak - but as I keep telling you "One day engineers will rule the world"

I don't think so, they spend too much time pondering!

Hi Msea,
Just another super part of this project. I look on with envy, and wonder how much medication you're on!
Joking apart, great stuff from a master.

The crane motor, and surrounding box made then gusset plates added - placed into the correct position but still needs removing and cleaning up and painting.
Also couple more posters added to the walls, will make 2 display boards for either side of the main door on the inside, with information on product production and workers information.

The hook drilled to slot the wire through. Rollers made to allow the centre section to slide along the outer rails. Wire and hook fitted to the crane and then fitted to the main girders.

Speedy stuff, coming along nicely.
I just love to see things made from bits and pieces.
