I have had these for a few years, so I thought it was time I built them.
I got the Flower Class Corvette from Kevin some time ago, he probably thought that I had sold it on EBay, well I haven't. It came with an etched brass fret from White Ensign.
The other I acquired from somewhere.

I have decided to start with the ICM KFK Kriegsfischerkutter, a WW2 German multi-purpose boat from ICM.
One fret of parts, it can be built either full hull or waterline. I will go for the waterline model in memory of Haddock, he always preferred a ship to be water lined and displayed on its natural environment.
You will get some idea of the size from the ruler!

It's out already!
Progress, no rails, so I have added some.
The poles are provided and so I added some cross members from elastic thread,
Still a bit of tidying up to do.
Time to rest my eyes now!

That is small. Good detail though.

The progress continues.
Some extra details added, but I need some 1/700 ladders for the bridge.

Looking good. Shouldn't it be 1/350 for the ladders?
I hope my next is always better

OOPS, yes it should, there may be some spare on the Corvette.
I am not looking forward to water lining it really.
New purchase from EBay, a stand for holding model ships and possibly other things too.

A ship munching contraption, ship looks good.

Never seen one of those before. It's small, when you look at it attached to a clothes peg in a previous picture.
Nice work.

The Mirage Corvette now water lined, in the jig and now the reference material to consult re this particular model.

Relax, you can breathe now you've got it waterlined.
Haddock would be happy.
I hope my next is always better
