Box made and holes filled and smoother.  A couple of coats of primer and first coat of brown, will let it dry and see if it needs more top coats.
Now to TRY and make the sub one colour of black

Yes Bob one of my top 5 films.
Sub now fastened into box and some ex-poly added to fill the gaps, next job mix some filler and colour and add in thin layers.

No Kevin modeling paste and colour but think matey would have done the trick.
Its now had 2 coats and the cracks filled in as it has dried.  Will now put it away to dry for 2 days and then see if it has cracked again, then on with a coat of gel or back to filling the cracks.

Yes a cracking good job - not like most of my models hohohoho - just had a look some very fine hairline cracks     

I'm sure you will sort them 'Gromit'.
Were the cracks in the model, or are you cracking up again.
Filler for the model, Rum for your goodself.
