I am being patient and allowing the yellow paint to dry thoroughly before moving on.
In the mean time I opened this and what a really nice kit it looks, parts nicely formed and moulded, so yes, I started it.
Impatient, no never.....................what me?

Here is the engine, its really good and the instructions give the actual names of the parts like Airfix and others used to do.

You've certainly got stuck into this one Dave. Yes it was from the original Airfix kits I learnt all the various parts of an aircraft.

Chassis assembled and the engine added, then the exhausts and the rear axle.
The exhausts were sprayed black and then a sort of steel/metallic/grey.

More details added to the chassis.

Chunky tyres, bet you don't get 4 of them for £80!!!! Exhausts are one of the items I find difficult to paint sometimes but like you have resorted to silver over black and I now do this when using gunmetal as well, which seems too silvery to me.

Great detail Dave. Looking excellent.
