Sounds like you have been taking lessons from me - about how to break bits off the model - even with the bit missing it looks great

Decals added, now need to add the connectors from cab to trailer for hydraulics, air and electrics. I believe that they are called "suzie connectors" in the uk, and the colours are standardised.
Red- emergency line
Yellow-brakes
Black-primary electrical
Blue- auxiliary
Green-secondary electrical.

So can you see where this is going?

Yes, a trailer!

This is from AMT and is for Hauling 5 cars.

Box art.

Back axle under construction.

This is quite large and the sides and bottom took some glueing together.

Clamps used to keep things together while drying.
First side to bottom, this morning and then left for a couple of hours. The other side was then glued to the base, the top is not glued on, I used masking tape, but the roll would not behave as you can see.
As you can see from the ruler in the last shot, it is quite large!

Side line = is it glueing or gluing, I thought the latter was US and the former English? Does this site use US English? Having now checked apparently the correct term is gluing. Both terms have been used in the past.
You'll never get me to write sulfur though, for me its still sulphur. Whilst still teaching we had a directive to say all books would now spell it the US way -SULPHUR. Well did I? Never!

I've more or less got them, Land Rover, Range Rover, Nova Estate Car, 1957 Chevy and a Pontiac GTO, not forgetting the Monkee Mobile and the Ghostbusters machines.

This is gonna be a 'Show stopper' at at Shows!! I like how in America lorries going uphill slowly put on their hazards so you're aware they're moving slow. Plus I never saw a slow one trying to overtake a slower one, a lesson to be learned here I think?

I always found them great, pity about the car drivers though - a lot of tailgating!

I'm enjoying this build Dave. As a student I had a holiday job driving one of these for an antique furniture moving company that was nearly the same colour as your model. Starting up always created alarm amongst the peasantry as Mack Thermodyne engines use a compressed air reservoir to turn them over and it sounds like shotgun being fired.

The things students do, most of mine was driving tractors and ice cream vans.

You amaze me Francis, such a varied and colourful life.
