Before I went away I set up some masters and poured some rubber compound around them, they take a while to cure. On arriving back home  - 3 days, the mould has just about cured, I think the rubber has gone off a little?
Anyway I then mixed some resin, here are the masters and the result. I do need to clean them up and so on.

they seem to have worked well. Well done for perseviering!

Wizzel

Nice.  I imagine it would have taken you more than 3 days to scratch-build the wheels?

zak

Maybe not, but I was away anyway, casting takes about 40 minutes from pouring to removal of the casting. So it is quicker really.

Can you cast more than one item from a given mould??

zak

Yes, that is the point, you can cast quite a lot, I have cast three rear wheels and front wheels so far. there will be a finite limit but I do not know what it is.

Here we are I have so far cast 2 front and 4 rear wheels - the rear ones will be double.
The masters are here as well.
