Work started on the aft mast

Support bars from the black hole in the deck up to the walkway - the plastic ones with the kit are 6 mm long and I need 8mm so will make some from the thin brass rod in the second photo.

Aft mast fitted to the ship and ratlines added to both masts.

Nice work, are the ratlines etched?

Yes - much improved on the ones I made from thin wire Chinese battleship Chen Yuen

More work done on the bow and stern.

Another coat of plaster of paris added to the base

Ship now fastened down to the base and another coat of plaster added to sit the ship into the sea.

Very nice Martin particularly the rigging and ratlines. Will it be at the next meeting?
